The Annual General Transfer (AGT) Notification for FY 2026 in the grade of Superintendent for the Kolkata CGST & Central Excise Zone has been issued by the Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner.
As per the communication dated 12.03.2026, Commissionerates/Directorates have been requested to forward the required details, options, and willingness of officers in the prescribed proformas for the purpose of processing the AGT proposals. The notification includes guidelines regarding:
- Officers who have completed tenure in Less HRA areas.
- Officers who have completed four years in sensitive or specified postings.
- Options/willingness for posting in Less HRA areas including Siliguri, Bolpur, Durgapur, Haldia etc.
- Officers completing tenure in Appeal/CCO/Directorates.
- Officers posted in Andaman & Nicobar / Sikkim formations and other special postings.
- Submission of history of postings along with first three options of transfer.
The notification also specifies that all details and willingness options must be verified from service records and forwarded through the proper channel, and incomplete or unsupported representations will not be entertained.
Members are advised to carefully review the notification and submit their options/willingness within the stipulated time through their respective Commissionerates.
